في إطار جهودها المستمرة لحماية المجتمع وتعزيز الصحة العامة، نفذت مؤسسة عُلا المجد للتنمية (OMD-Y) حملة توعوية وتكاملية لمكافحة الإسهالات المائية (الكوليرا)، وذلك ضمن مشروع إعادة تأهيل بئر المحراسة في منطقة المحراسة بمديرية بيت الفقيه – محافظة الحديدة.
استهدفت الحملة 37 وجيهًا مجتمعيًا و60 أسرة بالتوعية حول ممارسات النظافة الصحية وطرق الوقاية من الكوليرا، كما نجحت في إيصال رسائل التوعية إلى 898 شخصًا من أبناء المنطقة، إلى جانب توزيع منشورات إرشادية لتعزيز السلوكيات الصحية السليمة.
وشملت الأنشطة أيضًا كلورة بئر المحراسة وخزان المياه الرئيسي لضمان وصول مياه شرب آمنة ونظيفة للسكان، بما يسهم في الحد من انتشار الأمراض المائية.

Ola Al Majd Foundation for Development Implements Comprehensive Cholera Awareness Campaign in Al Mahrasa Area – Al Hudaydah
As part of its ongoing efforts to protect the community and promote public health, Ola Al Majd Foundation for Development (OMD-Y) implemented a comprehensive awareness campaign to combat watery diarrhea (cholera) within the framework of Al Mahrasa Well Rehabilitation Project in the Al Mahrasa area of Bayt Al Faqih District, Al Hudaydah Governorate.
The campaign targeted 37 community leaders and 60 families, raising awareness about hygiene practices and methods of cholera prevention. It also successfully delivered awareness messages to 898 residents of the area, in addition to distributing informational pamphlets to promote healthy behaviors.
Activities also included chlorinating Al Mahrasa well and the main water tank to ensure access to safe and clean drinking water for the population, thus contributing to reducing the spread of waterborne diseases.
