ضمن برامجها الإنسانية خلال شهر رمضان المبارك، نفّذت مؤسسة عُلا المجد للتنمية (OMD-Y) مشروع إفطار صائم، والذي استهدف الصائمين الذين أدركهم أذان المغرب وهم في الطرقات، ولم يتمكنوا من الوصول إلى منازلهم في الوقت المناسب.
وجاء تنفيذ المشروع من خلال نزول ميداني لفرق المؤسسة إلى عدد من الشوارع والتقاطعات، حيث تم توزيع التمر والماء على المارّة والسائقين قبيل أذان المغرب، بما مكّنهم من كسر صيامهم بسهولة وطمأنينة، في لحظة كانوا فيها بأمسّ الحاجة إلى هذه اللفتة الإنسانية.
كما أسهم المشروع في تعزيز قيم التكافل والتراحم في المجتمع، من خلال عمل ميداني مباشر يجسد روح العطاء خلال الشهر الفضيل، ويؤكد أن المشاريع البسيطة يمكن أن تترك أثرًا كبيرًا في حياة الأفراد.

Iftar Fasting Person… A Timely Act of Kindness
As part of its humanitarian programs during the holy month of Ramadan, Ola Al Majd Foundation for Development (OMD-Y) implemented Iftar Fasting Person project. This project targeted those fasting individuals who were caught by Almaghrib prayer call while on the roads and unable to reach their homes in time.
The project was implemented through field visits by the foundation’s teams to several streets and intersections, where dates and water were distributed to passersby and drivers before AlMaghrib prayer call. This enabled them to break their fast easily and peacefully at a time when they were most in need of this humanitarian action.
The project also contributed to strengthening the values of solidarity and compassion within the community through direct fieldwork that embodies the spirit of giving during this blessed month. It affirms that simple projects can have a significant impact on people’s lives.
