في إطار جهودها الإنسانية لتحسين الظروف المعيشية، نفذت مؤسسة علا المجد للتنمية (OMD-Y) بالتنسيق مع المجلس الأعلى لإدارة وتنسيق الشؤون الإنسانية والتعاون الدولي خلال شهر رمضان 1447هـ الموافق مارس 2026م مشروع خزانات المياه المنزلية، مستهدفةً الأسر الأشد احتياجًا التي تعاني من شحّ المياه.
ويهدف المشروع إلى توفير مصدر آمن ومستقر للمياه داخل منازل المستفيدين، بما يسهم في التخفيف من معاناتهم اليومية، ويعزز من استقرارهم المعيشي والصحي.
وقد أسهم المشروع في تحسين وصول المياه للأسر المستفيدة بشكل مباشر، وتقليل الأعباء المرتبطة بجلب المياه، كما ساهم في الحد من تأخر الأطفال عن مدارسهم أو غيابهم بسبب اضطرارهم لجلب المياه من السبيل، مما انعكس إيجابًا على انتظامهم الدراسي.
ويأتي هذا التدخل امتدادًا لجهود المؤسسة في تقديم حلول مستدامة تُسهم في تحسين جودة الحياة وترسيخ قيم التكافل الإنساني.

Household Water Tank Project – A Humanitarian Intervention Enhancing Water Security for the most vulnerable families.
As part of its humanitarian efforts to improve living conditions, Ola Al Majd Foundation for Development (OMD-Y), in coordination with the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, implemented a household water tank project during Ramadan 1447 AH (March 2026). The project targeted the most vulnerable families suffering from water scarcity.
The project aims to provide a safe and stable water source within the homes of beneficiaries, contributing to alleviating their daily hardships and enhancing their living and health security.
The project has directly improved access to water for beneficiary families, reduced the burdens associated with fetching water, and helped decrease school absenteeism among children who had to collect water from public fountains, thus positively impacting their school attendance.
This intervention is an extension of the Foundation’s efforts to provide sustainable solutions that contribute to improving quality of life and reinforcing the values of human solidarity.
