Position: Sewing Trainer
Duty Station: Yemen, Sana’a

Six days a week 8 hours per a day

About us

 Ola Al-Majd Foundation for Development (OMD-Y) is a non-governmental organization that seeks to support the foundations of sustainable development as well as reduce and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni citizen by providing emergency humanitarian response activities to the affected communities

Prepare a training plan

Ensuring that all the targets have been able to handle the theoretical and practical aspects of the sewing profession

Develop support plans for each beneficiary according to their needs

Ensuring that all beneficiaries of the training program can work in the profession after completing the training

Ensure a safe atmosphere is provided during professional learning sessions.

Conducting a weekly and final evaluation and reports of the beneficiaries and ensuring that all beneficiaries follow the learning process

Follow up on the beneficiaries and guide them in applying their skills

Ensure that all beneficiaries feel comfortable, safe and respected.

Ensure that all educational materials, machinery and equipment are counted and stored in a safe manner in addition to maintaining the integrity of the equipment

Qualifications and Experience:

Relevant academic or professional certificate

At least five years of experience in the same field

High skills in organization and effective communication, especially with trainees

Demonstrate practical experience in the practice of sewing

Demonstrate practical experience in practicing sewing training

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Multiple tasks and achieving goals within the time limit

Ability to work efficiently within a team

Commitment to work, time and good discipline
Languages: Arabic – English is an advantage
