The project aims at contributing to improving the living situation of the most vulnerable families, access to livelihood opportunities, increasing
families’ income to strengthen their resilience to face difficulties through the provision of sustainable and productive assistance to women.
The project was implemented in three phases from Sep. 22, 2022 to March 15, 2023. Thirty female beneficiaries were targeted.
The first phase lasted 26 days at a total of 182 hours and beneficiaries were trained in the designing and sewing of girls’ clothes and bags. The second phase lasted 3 days at a total of 21 hours and the beneficiaries were trained in micro-businesses management. Phase III lasted 26 days at a total of 182 hours and beneficiaries were trained in the designing and sewing of all types of baby clothes.
The project was concluded with the presence of the Norwegian Council partner, supervising authorities, the Charity’s Deputy Chairman and the project team. Grants were awarded to female beneficiaries where each grant contains a Jack industrial sewing machine, steam iron, collection of fabrics and training period products.
