On November 13, 2023, OMD-Y implemented the project of “Distributing Cash Aids on Kidney Failure Patients” at Ath-Thawrah Hospital in Sana’a Municipality.
This is under the Foundation’s Food Security and Livelihoods Program which the Foundation cares a lot, funded by PURE HANDS Org., and under the supervision of SCMCHA.
The Foundation distributed a cash sum of YR 45,000 to each of the 120 beneficiaries as a financial aid to cover the costs of dialysis sessions and purchase the necessary medicines needed by the beneficiaries.
This project is the Foundation’s contribution to mitigate the sufferings of kidney failure patients, and in response to the needs of the neediest segments (i.e., patients who are unable to afford medical care costs).
The project was implemented by conducting a field visit to Ath-Thawrah Hospital, visiting patients in the Dialysis Department and distributing cash aids to them.
