In the presence of Ms. Fathia Al-Ghazali, the head of the Foundation, the Capacity Building for Orphan Program of the Child Protection Sector at Ola Al-Majd Foundation for Development held the first cultural event for the mothers of orphans.
This event comes within the framework of the program’s efforts to raise awareness and educate mothers through discussion on various social topics, including parenting skills and behavior modification for orphans, as well as orphan money management skills.
The women participating in the event expressed their happiness with the Foundation’s interest in the situation of orphans and the benefits they obtained during the event, especially about raising their awareness of child-rearing methods.
For her part, the orphan’s building program officer, Ms. Sahar Al-Shamy, expressed her happiness with the implementation of this event, which she said enhances the abilities of mothers of orphans in overcoming the problems of children in different stages.
She also stressed the importance of contributing to enhancing mothers of orphans’ self-confidence, which positively affects their psychological status, as well as helping them strengthen their relationship with each other.
