Funded by PURE HANDS Org. and supervised by the Supreme Council for the Management of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation (SCMCHA), Ola Al-Majd for Development (OMD-Y) has implemented the “Ramadan Food Basket Distribution Project” (Giving Good) which is one of Ramadan’s projects of the food security and livelihoods sector. The food baskets were distributed for 119 families at the Municipality of Sana’a. The families, among the neediest ones, were targeted during Ramadan 2023-1444 H. The food baskets contain the most important needs of families.
The distribution took place in large places to prevent overcrowding and facilitate the beneficiaries’ process of receiving the food baskets.
The project aims to mitigate food insecurity and the low standard of living of the most vulnerable families in the Municipality of Sana’a, alleviate the suffering of families through contributing to supporting food security and providing basic needs.
