Funded by PURE HANDS Org., supervised by the Supreme Council for the Management of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation (SCMCHA) and implemented by Ola Al-Majd for Development (OMD-Y), the “On-Training and Distribution of Sewing Machines” activity, which is part of the ‘Economic Empowerment Project’, has been concluded today 6 June 2023 in As-Saddah District, Ibb Governorate
During the course of the activity, 40 female trainees were trained on the basics of sewing (girls/women) through pattern drawing, cutting and sewing. A graduation project was delivered by each female beneficiary which was a blouse and a girls’ skirt.
The female beneficiaries were granted 40 Jack A2 Industrial Sewing Machines as a grant by the Foundation along with cutting fabrics and products which were manually made by the female trainees.
